details.

For the full renovation of this 1901 Edwardian home KMD crafted a space that both preserves the home’s historic character and brings a vibrant, modern spirit infused with color and texture. Floor to ceiling windows and doors seamlessly open the kitchen and dining space to the greenery of the back garden, while the living room is layered with warm earth tones. The owners have four young children, so KMD collaborated closely with them to make every space livable and easy-to-maintain, from a floating oak homework nook to a colorful bunk bedroom. A completely redone primary suite on the top floor features vaulted ceilings and walls of bleached walnut and caned cabinetry, while the primary bath pops with terrazzo and a floating vanity to maximize the space.
